This shows a CS-21 next to two fuselages. You can see how far back the slip on nosecone goes. The nosecone is made of two layers of cloth. When an access hatch is cut in the main nose the fuse becomes flexible, however when the nosecone is on the fuselage nose becomes quite rigid. |

This shows three fuselages with the nosecone in different positions. There is one layer of CF tow on each side to the fuselage. The fuselage is quite flexible when squeezed but very rigid in the tailboom, as seen in the main Itch photos. |
